    Together, we’ll create personalised strategies to support your physical health, boost your mental well-being, and build habits that enhance your everyday life — so you’re not just adding years to your life, but truly adding life to your years, preventing or slowing the common issues of ageing.

    We’re lucky in the UK to have the NHS, and primary care is there for us should we fall ill.  But our NHS services often don’t have the resources to focus on primary prevention.  Primary prevention takes a proactive approach to preventing illness and extending healthspan.  We may not be able to prevent everything forever, but I bet you can do more to lower your disease risk than you realise.

    After being told I was prediabetic, I was offered the chance to meet coach Mark Quirk.  With his help and advice on diet and exercise over six meetings I managed to lose over 30 pounds in weight taking me out of obesity bracket and lower my blood sugar levels to below prediabetic readings.     Over a series of 1:1 sessions over   a few months Mark really helped me talk through and untangle a number of issues that were causing me a degree of stress, anxiety and feelings of being a bit stuck. I had met Mark some years ago from his mindfulness course, and I felt using Steve Peter’s Chimp model as a framework (I highly recommend the book!), and having Mark as my guide, would help me.

    Mark is a great listener - he is attentive and empathetic. And he is a great teacher of mind management techniques to deal with life – all explained in everyday common sense language and drawing on his own personal experience. I fully trusted Mark, no topic was out of bounds, we covered a lot of ground, and every session was valuable.

    3 months later I now feel in a much better place, and am more able to deal with the ups and downs life will continue to throw at me.

    I attended a fibromyalgia group, which I found excellent and recommend to all in pain.
